Kitchen Wizards are a Jim Ireland original. He is a one of a kind, handcarved, original and you will never find another one exactly like him.
They are good luck charms for the kitchen to help you prepare only the finest things to eat. In order for their good luck to work they must be named by the person whose kitchen they occupy. This fellow has keen blue eyes and a big nose to see and smell what you are up to and his chef hat complets the total picture. He has grayish hair and beard.
He is carved from basswood and painted with artist acrylic paint which will hold their color over the long haul. The spoon section is finished with Bush oil finish and although it is food safe I don't recommend using it to cook with as it will stain and discolor. The spoon has a brass eye on top for hanging.
The spoon is 16" long. The spoon bowl is 2 1/4" wide by 3 1/2" long. The face carving is 6" high by 2 1/2" wide at the tip of the nose.
It is signed by the carver.
